Reflecting on Sigma Europe 2024: 10 Years of Innovation and Growth

Just back from the unforgettable Sigma Europe 2024 conference in Malta, and what an incredible experience it was! This year marked the 10th anniversary of one of the iGaming industry’s most prestigious events, and the scale was nothing short of monumental: over 145,000 square meters of stunning exhibitions, 27,000 delegates, and 1,000 sponsors and exhibitors. Across three days, we explored trends, built connections, and celebrated the past decade while looking forward to the future.

Our Already Media team attended with a strong delegation, including affiliate managers, our Head of Affiliate, Brand Manager, COO, and CMO Brand, ensuring a robust representation across all key areas of expertise.

What Our Affiliate Managers Had to Say

Sigma is rightfully called the ‘mother of all conferences,’ as it’s the ultimate platform to connect with the largest number of partners for maintaining communication, personal introductions, and discovering new contacts. The sheer scale is undeniable — at times, even the streets felt crowded, let alone the main venue. Fast face-to-face exchanges with partners and new contacts provided valuable insights and actionable plans for the near future. In short, as always, it was informative, productive, and incredibly beneficial.” — Viktoryia, affiliate manager at Already Media.

Sigma 2024 was my first conference of this scale. Walking in felt like diving into an endless ocean — it’s massive in size and in the quality of contacts you can make. Every conversation felt like a mini masterclass, with clear intentions for mutual benefit. If traffic is an art, Sigma is the gallery where you meet artists eager to share their secrets. The professionalism of participants stood out; these weren’t just casual chats about the weather or websites. Everyone came prepared to share insights. For me, Sigma wasn’t just a conference—it was a place where inspiration was around every corner. I left with a wealth of new knowledge, valuable contacts, and unforgettable memories. Thanks to AlreadyMedia, the organizers, and participants for making it such an incredible experience!” — Yauheni, affiliate manager at Already Media.

Strategic Partnerships and Key Meetings

Our affiliate team maximized the opportunity, holding over 100 meetings with current and prospective partners. Discussions revolved around SEO traffic trends in emerging and established regions like Latam America, Asia, Africa, and Tier 1 countries. We delved into the challenges of adapting to regulatory changes and the ongoing “Google storms” impacting search visibility.

To make the most of such opportunities, preparation is key. Check out Maximizing Growth Through Conference Participation: Strategies from Industry Leaders for actionable tips on how to get ready for events like Sigma.

Hot Topics in iGaming

The conference was a melting pot of critical discussions shaping the industry’s future:

  • The evolution of SEO in competitive and emerging markets.
  • Choosing reliable partnerships amid an influx of new brands.
  • Preparing for upcoming regulations and identifying promising geos.

Looking Ahead

Sigma has always been a must-attend event for us, and this year was no exception. As one of the best conferences in the iGaming space, it provides an unparalleled platform for growth and collaboration.

We’re already making plans for next year and are especially excited about SiGMA Central Europe in Milan, Italy, set for November 23–26, 2025. It’s a new destination for Sigma and promises to expand its reach even further.
